AdvanceIT Minnesota engages employers, educators, and learners to develop a more robust IT Workforce in Minnesota. Its five strategic goals are to:

Enhance alignment of student learning outcomes with emerging industry need.

Increase enrollment in IT programs and improve student success in obtaining an initial IT job.

Improve initial job success and career advancement of IT grads from affiliated programs.

ISSA (MN)

The Minnesota Information Systems Security Association, ISSA (MN), chapter is a forum for Information Security professionals in the Upper Midwest to share information, problems, and accomplishments. It is affiliated with the International Information Systems Security Association.

ISACA (MN)

Information Systems Audit and Control Association, Minnesota, (ISACA) MN, the Minnesota chapter of ISACA, has approximately 900 members from over 100 organizations.

ISACA is a leading information technology organization representing more than 75,000 individual members in more than 160 countries. Membership is comprised of all levels of IT professionals. Uniquely positioned and equipped to be the single provider of leading edge products and services, ISACA has assumed a role as the harmonizing source for IT control practices and standards the world over.

Business Continuity Planners Association

The Business Continuity Planners Association (BCPA), based in Minneapolis-St. Paul, is a non-profit, mutual benefit association of business professionals responsible for, or participating in, business recovery, crisis management, emergency management, contingency planning, disaster preparedness planning, or a related professional vocation. The mission of BCPA is to provide a professional and educational environment for the exchange of experience, dissemination of information, professional growth, and for added value of mutual interest to the membership.
