Michael Olesen completed his BS in Public Health and Life Sciences at the University of Minnesota, where he also completed his coursework for his Master’s in Public Health in epidemiology from the School of Public Health. He is a member of the Association of Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC), MN Public Health Association, InfraGard, and the Metropolitan Emergency Managers Association. He is board-certified in infection control and is a certified Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) Continuity of Operations Planning Trainer.
