Kris Eide is the Director of MN Homeland Security and Emergency Management, a position she took in October 2005. Prior to this, she served as the Assistant Director of Emergency Preparedness and Operations. As HSEM Director, Kris has the overall responsibility to ensure coordination of state agency preparedness and emergency response to all types of natural and other emergencies and disasters. Her 29 years' experience help ensure the readiness for all the citizens of the state.
