The Upper Midwest Security Alliance is seeking volunteers for the Secure360º^TM conference to be held May 11-12, 2010. We're expecting about 550 attendees and 40 talks , which means we need as much help as possible! This is a great opportunity to give back to the security community and interact with many of your industry peers.

To volunteer:

Volunteer Positions & Perks:

Speaker Committee

  Commitment:  15 hours pre-conference speaker selection

  Perk:  $50 off conference admission.  (Used in combination with member & affiliate discount for a total of $100 off admission.)

  Note:  Speaker Committee members who meet the above commitment and moderate at least 3 session receive free conference admission.

Registration Volunteers (20 Available)

  Commitment: 4 hours at the conference, miss 1 keynote and 1 session

  Perk:  $50 off conference admission.  (Used in combination with member & affiliate discount for a total of $100 off admission.)

Session Moderators (20 Available)

  Commitment: 2 full days at conference with reduced abilty to choose sessions

  Perk:  Free Conference Admission

  Note:  Moderator Coordinator has final say on acceptance of moderator.

Session Scanners (20 Student Positions Available)

  Commitment: 2 full days at conference with reduced ability to choose sessions

  Perk:  Free Student Conference Admission

  Note:  Open to students only.

Tradeshow Assistance (1 Available)

  Commitment: 4 hours Monday before the conference and additional hours Tuesday as directed by Trade-show Coordinator

A/V Coordinator (1 Available + 1 Student Assistant)

  Commitment: pre-conference coordination and 2 full days at conference with reduced ability to choose sessions

  Perk:  Free Conference Admission

  Note: This is a critical volunteer position requiring a broad knowledge of networking.

CD Production (2 Student Positions Available)

  Commitment: All work is pre-conference with tight deadlines at the end of April and beginning of May.
